Swim it.

Swimming!  We decided to hit the water head on today (rather then the usual NW style on getting hit on the head).  Della’s first jump into a large pool was amazing.  She already digs being in the bathtub and kicking around – so what’s better than a huge tub. Rents … if your kid can hold their head up well, bring them to the pool.  Most babies automatically know what to do (they can even hold their breath).  Not sure when we lose that instinct … and why …
Della loved a few things … found problems with a few others.  Pool water, not tasty.  But the little float devices for kids (they look like long styrofoam pencils) – those taste excellent.  She almost swims, but we didn’t want to toss her out on her own.  Though, I bet she had a one-up on the guy doing the butterfly in the lane next to us.
