The largest amount of snow since the 50s just fell. Power on and off. Oh yes, the gov’ner just called a state of emergency.  Crazy ice everywhere. Like clockwork, no one can drive.

So we head for the streets with sleds and bikes …. Snow is like Christmas yeh? The kids love it, we love it.

We’re of the ‘this is awesome and only happens like 3 days a year’ school.  North-westerners and their classic passive aggressiveness typically create what we call “snow grinches”. Yeh it’s cold, sure I can’t get any work done without power – but I just made a jump out of snow and rode my snowboard through all of the neighbors yards.  Any other day …. like if we did donuts @ on their lawn … well, that wouldn’t end well.  So embrace it, have fun and end the day with a good bottle of wine and the heat cranked up.
