Household top play artist list for the last two months … good demographics for the marketing inclined.  I find it pretty funny …

  • Various Artists  – this is anything that’s a compilation or soundtrack.  The Bleep top 100 was in the mix since it came out. The sound of music OST is on almost daily.
  • No Artist – Who knows.
  • Joe Hisaishi – Composer on most Ghibli films
  • Recess Monkey – A surprisingly good kids band. Lifts a lot of ideas from old late 80s rock/pop and newer indie music – but in a i-won’t-die-if-my-kids-listen-to-this sort of way.  I think they might be day job teachers?

  • FaltyDL
  • Foster The People – guilty pleasure …

  • My Neighbor Totoro

  • Sepalcure – one of the best records / team ups in years

  • Egyptrixx – Amazing detuned spacey electro … set was choice @ Decibel
  • VA – Same as Various Artists …
  • The Chipmunks
  • Seekae – for those starved for a new Boards of Canada record.
  • Walt Disney – yep.
