7. Photos—April

 Saturdays are FCS NORTH practice days.  This usually means good quality lounge time in the basement with the boys and some sweet melodies and low beats through the living room floor.  I know everyone says that their babies like music but Della really digs playing the guitar with her Uncle Andy as he holds it up for her and she’ll rock back and forth like a crazy person to try and follow her Dad’s bass guitar. I don’t know too many other babies that actually fall asleep to a band playing in the basement either. Future punker!         

 

Now of course I’m only going to choose the pictures of me where I DON’T look like I’ve just rolled out of bed or had 20 cocktails.  I don’t know what it is with me and the camera these days but, well you know how it goes. The more you try the worse it looks. Sometimes we actually get a break and everyone in the picture looks pretty alright.

 On Easter, Della finally met her Grandma Marilyn from Alaska.  Both G-ma and G-pa spoiled her rotten with treats and presents (don’t worry we don’t call them that, yet anyway).      So then she had to take a nap…

Let’s see here what else happened in the month of April with our little Dellapants?

1.) She started eating biscuits. We learned that it’s Serious biscuit eating only in this house.  Now we know better .   Well maybe not .

2.) If you come over she’ll share a carrot with you.   She doesn’t have any teeth yet so she can only nub the carrot BUT she knows now that a carrot in the teethy mouth of a grown up means that the end will be juicy again for her.

3.) We went on our first family bike ride!!!           Funny.

4.) Once Della learned that Spain would eat biscuits if you gave her the chance, well just look for yourself and guess—   and then     and then . 

5.) In the clothes*  and out of the clothes . Repeat. These days I’m sure Della feels like life is about getting dressed or undressed. Nakey is preferable.  I never really realized how much dusting and sweeping one crawling baby can do with her pant legs. She does a good job and comes in pretty handy so we’ve started giving her an allowance.    *A mismatch of pj’s an outgrown choo choo sweater and two different kinds o socks; arn’t babies fun.

6.)   Size in comparison as of April 15th, 2007. 

7.) Do all babies love bathtime?  I don’t know but Della does for sure.  In the sink is the way to go.  Good viewpoint, better water. 04.20.06
